Tai Mo Shan is the highest peak of the city with 957 meters height. It is the favorite spot of the famous hikers of the world. Tai Mo Shan which literally means "Big Misty Mountain" is used to indicate the low temperature of the mountain. During some winter days, the temperature can reach the freezing point which makes the mist or frost appear. And even in summer, the temperature is still cool and the peak of the mountain lets guests to enjoy the magnificent panoramic view of the city.
